TXTP: What's the most unexpected "joy" you get out of your Tiny Pool?

E&T: The kids tend to dominate the pool and when they are at school I love to jump in after a hot and sweaty run. My husband loves to go for a dip at night after work while the pool lights are on. I also love to sit on the outdoor sectional and just listen to the bubblers.

Why did you get a Tiny Pool?

We struggled for years keeping the kids occupied over the summer time. We had every type of inflatable blow up pool slide you can imagine and after the herculean effort of blowing them all up every weekend the entertainment would only last a few minutes. Austin Parks and Recreation failed to open a lot of their pools and splash pads during and after Covid;, and even now with the lifeguard shortage we are so glad we have our pool. I felt we had nowhere to swim last summer. That is no longer a problem!

Why did you choose to get our sliding safety deck?

We needed safety features for our two year old. We couldn't find a fence option that we would want to look at every single day. Nothing enhanced the look of the pool, only detracted. Once I found Tiny Pools and saw the sliding deck I couldn't unsee it. I love everything about the deck. I sleep soundly every night knowing our two year old can't fall in. When we have friends over and everyone is done swimming the kids will sit on the deck and "go for a ride" as we close it. The kids run around and we don't have to worry about anyone falling in. We will enjoy the space more in the wintertime and we love the surrounding turf

Are there any other features you chose for your pool that you are so glad you did?

We are so happy we went with shallow water. A deep end would have been a waste of space. We also love that we brought the bench to wrap all the way around one side. It gives the adults somewhere to go and it also helps the kids swim from end to end.

Anything else fun you'd like to share about how your family is using the pool or plans to use it in the future?

We say over and over again how it was the best thing we ever did to this house. And we've done a lot! I tell my husband every time I get in "this is living....". The pool is the one place where our kids get along - no arguing over toys, no complaining that the other did this or that - it is truly our happy place! We also put it up on Swimply. The extra cash we make from that is a nice little bonus - however we love using it so much that the Swimply calendar is mostly blocked out for us! :)
