It’s Spray Day! Here’s What To Expect

The site has been prepped. The excavation is complete. The rebar, plumbing, and electrical has been installed. The inspections have been passed. The next major milestone in your Tiny Pool project is Spray Day!

What is Spray Day?

Every Tiny Pool is custom designed and built to your specifications — no cookie-cutter precast or fiberglass pools here! Our pools are made out of high-strength fiber-reinforced concrete that is sprayed out of a hose at high velocity. It is sprayed on to the reinforcing steel to create your pool shell. This process is commonly known as shotcrete.

Spray Day is when the concrete crew shows up to spray your pool. They will arrive with a concrete truck and a pump, so make sure the curb and street in front of your home are clear of parked cars, trash cans, etc. Then, they will run a line from the pump to your pool location. After getting set up and protecting the surrounding area from overspray, Spray Day can begin!

What’s Next?

Congratulations, now you can see that your Tiny Pool is taking shape (literally)! Be sure to spray your pool shell (with water) to make sure that it cures properly! Check out this video to learn more:
